The easiest way to join NCTA is online: begin by choosing a membership type below. If you prefer, however, you may print out a membership form and send it in with your payment (Individual Membership · Corporate Membership).

The Northern California Translators Association is a regional chapter of the American Translators Association. As such, its members are bound by the ATA Code of Professional Conduct and Business Practices.

In addition, linguists with appropriate qualifications are entitled to be listed in our online searchable database and telephone referral service. New members will be asked for credentials and references, which will be verified by the NCTA board. Our screened database of translators and interpreters is a highly respected and heavily used source through which clients from San Francisco, Silicon Valley and around the world place their jobs.
