Two NCTA members look at certification laws and practices in California.

Join Carolyn Yohn and Clarissa Laguardia for a discussion of the laws and current practices surrounding certification for language professionals and their work here in California. Learn about opportunities for interpreter certification in the area, translator certification for rare languages, laws about who can certify translations for use in filings, and the language used for certifying translations.

A short presentation will be followed by ample time for questions and discussion. Plus, take the opportunity to learn more about co-working at spaces like Hacker Lab!
